A quick question about cooking/cooked gammon

I cooked a small piece of gammon yesterday on it's "sell by/use by" date.

Once in a cooked state does it's sell by date become void, and if so, how many days after cooking it is it safe to eat?

Thanks!

I don't know, thats a good q. We have cooked our ham today - smells delicious.

yes - the use by date is how long you've got to cook it, once you've cooked it then it's however long it will keep for when cooked. Which is about 4-5 days I think.
