Has anyone made Delia's choc truffles?

The recipe says to put 2 tablespoons of rum or brandy in. Has anyone tried without any alcohol? I have the rest of the ingredients, but no rum or brandy and tempted to try without, but don't want to waste the slab of decent quality choc if it's going to be awful!

Its just for extra flavour, try some grated orange zest instead.

Thanks mumbear - I actually wimped out and went to shops and bought bottle of rum. They are looking good (although I think I did them a bit small!) Of course, I will have to try the 'leftovers' in a bit
