I've tried doing a search but can't really find one. My grandad used to make a really nice one but not a clue how or what went in it.

dd is nut allergic so nuts out of question.

Thanks

I use sausage meat, dried fruits (raisins/apricots/cranberrys) and sage, then just season.

The sausage meat keeps it moist.

this one from delia is very traditaional and i used it a couple of years ago and it was very nice - not extravagant but reassuring and easy.

My brother's stuffing recipe....this amount makes loads,
3 kilo?s sausage meat stuffing.
700g breadcrumbs.
12 chopped onions.
12 eggs.
Chopped parsley (2 pots)
Black pepper
Salt (pinch)
Garlic 3-4 cloves (grated)
English mustard (6 teaspoons approx)
Henderson?s relish 4 tablespoon?s approx.

Chuck in washing up bowl (washed!). Mix together, lob in greased baking tins.
Cook in oven, long & slow!
