would you eat this mince?

Packet of mince meat has been open in the fridge since Tuesday eve. The use by date is 23rd Dec. Would you use this mince today or chucj it because it's been open for five days?

if it smells ok I would use it

I wouldn't eat it if it has been open so long. I would use within 24 hours or at very most 48 I think.

I would use it if it doesn't smell funny or have a strange colour.
