chicken cooked whilst defrosting - is it ok.....................

no should be fully defrosted first

well it has defrosted, Ive made sure all the frozen bits are soft now, but the ends of the legs have got very hot.

Sorry misunderstood you first post. You mean it went past defrost and started to cook in the microwave?
I would say that would be fine for cooking with

yep thats it , darn microwaving, hate doing it with chicken etc , but we're all in dire need of chicken soup in flu house!
