QUICK! HELP! RIsotto emergency!

I'm cooking this www.deliaonline.com/recipes/oven-baked-smoked-pancetta-and-leek-risotto,1080,RC.html and i've just realised I have the wrong rice. I have arborio, will it work? How do I measure out half the portion the recipe says (just cooking for me and DH!) Onions are already cooking EEEEEEEEEEEEEk!

arborio is fine

Arborio and carnaroli are interchangeable so far as risottos go, so don't worry. It sounds yummy.

It is what I use and is fine.

It was delicious though on reflection I would have used slightly more stock than she said. VERY tasty though, will definitely make again!
