Roasting carrots?

Quick questions.
I want to serve a platter of roast parsnips and roast carrots. I hate the smell of raw parsnip so I've bought ready-roasted (sorry!). What should I do with the carrots - parboil then roast, or just stick em in to roast?
TIA

Ooh you need Delia I've used this recipe a few times and it's lovely (and easy!)

(I find there is a bit more coriander/peppercorn in this than I like, but just use as much as you like.)

I wouldn't par boil them. Carrots aren't that big. I usually cut them into chunks then pour over a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper. Maybe a few cumin seeds. Or even a drizzle of honey. Mix in well and then chuck in the oven.
