Want to try ds2 with some soldiers dipped in egg for breakie tomoorow and I also fancy one too....

It takes about 4 4 1/2 mins for a runny yolk - if I'm cooking 2 eggs in the sae pan do I need to double the time or is just 4 mins still ok?

Still the same length of time, assuming you're timing from when they come to the boil.

Put them in when the water is boiling or otherwise you can't time it right.

I make 3 and it takes 5 minutes. (I advise you make 3 too as you will want more than one, I promise)

I do mine for 2.5 minutes, any longer and the yolk is hard??

It depends on whether they're at room temperature before you start cooking them. I always keep mine in the fridge, and put them into the pan straight from the fridge.

I start timing mine from when they go into the boiling water, take them out exactly 6 mintues later and immediately put them in cold water so they stop cooking and they are always perfect - yolks runny and whites just cooked.

Ahh I put mine in from the start so they are in there while the water is coming to the boil. Then start timing from when water is boiling.
Tight Scot here ha!!!!
