We got this one nearly two months ago. Has been on every day since we got it. Worth it's weight in gold!!!! I also suggest getting a slow cooker recipe book!!!

Oh and yes, they are safe to leave on.

We have a slow cooker, which is fab for casseroles etc whilst out at work. We have www.lakeland.co.uk/tefal!REG-4-in-1-rice-cooker/F/keyword/slow+cooker/product/12037 have never used the rice bit and have to say my mothers slow cooker is much better, it simply is a pot on a hot plate.

On a different matter, are you buying DH anything else for Christmas? Is this what he wants? Otherwise you may find it isn't the happy Christmas you had envisaged. Imagine him getting you a new iron

I heart my slow cooker, i got it for my birthday last month and its brilliant. I got a crockpot. Its very big. Can get loads in it. Can't do a link at the mo as on phone. I know in john lewis they are around 60quid, but got the same one in costco for 35quid.

Hi,

I do sympathise, my DP always gives me a tiny Christmas list having previously received what I had secretly wanted for xmass. Now having got a small list, which by the time has been around family has nothing left for me to choose from, I always look at the books he reads/ dvds he may watch / cd's he enjoys and check out what others have bought from the Amazon site. Speak to friends, can they recommend any really good CD's etc? What about aftershaves, have you smelt any lovely ones around.

From experience, I have bought some fab aftershaves, terrible DVD's, my favorite aftershave .

On the other hand, I bought my dad some hedge trimmers (its what he asked for) as a birthday gift and my DP always laughs and threatens that if I'd have bought him the hedge cutters for his birthday, he's be looking to buy me a new dyson for mine!!!!!
