Cut in hald, sprinkle with a few drops of water on each half and pop in microwave for about 10 secs. Should be nice and soft again. Birds if not.

bellabelly · 15/12/2008 12:12

bread and butter pudding?

staryeyed · 15/12/2008 12:15

If its still edible I would make baguette pizzas

Gorionine · 15/12/2008 12:20

French toast ( we call the "Croute dorees" in Switzerland, it sounds so much nicer)

Cheese fondue

Bread and butter pudding?

Or you could try wrapping it in foil and warming it in the oven, that will freshen it up a bit.

breadcrumbs

then mix in garlic + salt + parsley+ butter and use as topping for bakes.

Makes the simplest macaroni/cheese more glamorous.
