OK, I know at the grand old age of 32 I should know how to do this, but I'm really not an egg lover so I don't really cook them!

Could some kind soul please give me timings for boiled eggs with a slighly runny yolk for my 3 year old to have for breakfast.

Do you put them into cold water and start timing from then, or into boiling water, or cold and time from when it boils?

put them in boiling water and time from then

I would say 4 mins for runny yok for dipping

I'm not very good at eggs either

Put them in the boiling water with a dash of vinegar to stop the shell cracking. If you have time get them to room temperature too.

For medium sized ones

If straight from the fridge 4 and a half minutes

room temperature 4 minutes.

Runny yolk but solid white.

Thanks both
