How would you make breadcrumbs without a grinder?

Just realised that my spice grinder broke, which is fine as I use a pestle and mortar, but I can't use that for fresh breadcrumbs!

Any ideas?

I use my smoothie maker.....or can use a liquidiser

A grater does a good job but it is a loooooong and boring one!

Food processor/liquidiser if you have one.

Or failing that, use your fingers to rub the bread together....

U can make crumbs v tediously by rubbing between fingers and thumbs, easiest with the heel pieces.

grater

OK, I do have a blender/liquidiser thingy - I will try that, thanks!

Grater here too but it's easier if you stick the bread in the freezer for a bit first.

Do you have a handheld blender?
