Frozen peas are great obviously, but what other frozen veg is good?

I buy frozen peas and sweetcorn.
I have some frozen fine beans at the mo and they're ok.

What do you like? I am planning to use more frozen veg to minimize waste but don't want to compromise on quality.

Frozen peas are good unless they're straight out of the pod(I don't much like peas though). I bought frozen brocolli once, was awful

Chips

I read that frozen sweetcorn is nutritionally better than tinned sweetcorn. I agree it tastes nicer out of the tin eaten with a fork but I can't tell the difference as a side vegetable.

I use:
peas / broad-soya beans

sweetcorn (both as'veg' on a dinner and as a sprinkler inner)

sliced peppers - but only for things that I would have cooked for a long while anyway so texture would have been similar i.e chilli or lasagne type thing

fine green beans

sliced leeks - prefer fresh but are a handy standby for a quick soup and leek and pot pie,

sprouts - but only if blanched my own

raspberries and blueberries - for home made muffins, cheesecakes, icecream and smoothies.

Oh yes - soya beans. Brilliant for throwing together quick noodles for child-teas.
