Can ds have some of our dinner tonight even though I've used about a third of a bottle of red wine in it?

He is 3, I've just made boeuf bourguignonne with roughly a third a bottle of red wine and same amount of water. Have put it in slow cooker to cook ready for tonight.

Will it be ok for ds, I thought it would be as won't the red wine burn off as it cooks?

But now having 2nd thoughts!!

I'd be more worried about salt not sure about the alcohol burning off?

ClausImWorthIt · 11/12/2008 10:03

Yes, all alcohol will have long since disappeared.

Geepers · 11/12/2008 10:03

yes, the worst that could happen is he will sleep well ;)

There is no added salt. Is there salt in red wine?

Well, I wondered for a moment after Jumpingjinglebelss post!!!!

Don't want ds going into nursery the next morning smelling of red wine. Sure there would be a few raised eyebrows!!!
