Stilton and Broccoli soup - can it be frozen?

I am trying to get all my Christmas dinner prepared early and was wondering if I make my soup early, is it possible to freeze it until the big day.

I'm sure I've frozen this - make the soup but don't add the stilton till you are heating the soup up to serve.
