The skin won't come off!!!!

Sounds daft I know but I followed the instuctions in my book to remove the skin of peaches but it doesn't blooming well work!!!
What's the secret?

please help me, i don't do a lot of cooking and am trying to be better for my baby!!

put them back in the boiling water for a few minutes and try again

What have you done ?

Have a look here scroll down . Two methods - hot water and microwave.

I find with tomatos you have to let the water actually boil with them in it for a few seconds.

Make a tiny nick in the skins before putting them into the water.
