my 16 month old was actually a good eater but now since chicken pox eats nothing of what he used to like and today pushed plate of his fave chicken strips and peas on floor

been like this with everything he liked

only eating yogurt milk and tiny bit of fruit

what should i do? def not eating enough and cant force feed him

is this normal whether it is chicken pox or not?

when did he have cp?

ds went for about a month one summer of not eating much - hadn't been ill just only took fuit yoghurt and resorted to the odd savoury baby jar form Boots which contained fennel! At the time I put it down to teething and reluctance to chew but frankly could have been anything. He hadn't been especially fussy until then and eventually increased the range of food again as we fed him more or less the same as ours rather than cooked his own meals.

Hey bumbly. Is your ds still not eating? Have you checked his throat incase it's sore by any chance? I know when I had cp I got them down my throat as well.

I'm the same as lizs and have given ds a jar of baby food when he's not well as they're very runny and easy to eat. Ds went through a phase of hardly eating anything for about 3 wks after he wasn't well. The doc said it was normal and his appetite returned with vengeance when it did. How long ago did he have cp?
