red meat suggestions for 16 month old

used to love mince with tomato or beef stew or lamb stew...since ages but now all of sudden spits it out

worrie

what can i do? any other red meat suggestions?

My DS1 did the same at about that age, it can be a bit grainy sometimes, maybe just puree it a bit but leave the other stuff like veggies as lumpy as before. Or just try other things like more fish and chicken then re-introduce it after a while.

Liver (if you can stand the smell) is surprisingly popular with my LO. I give her strips to chew on (it is quite soft) and some other bits chopped up very small.

hi bumbly, dd really doesnt like mince unfortunatley. a really slow cooked beef stew so meat goes all soft goes down a treat tho'. i do worry about red meat tho' - partly just cause its not something i would cook just for her. luckily she likes broccoli and doesnt mind spinach so i think we have the iron thing covered

LOL My gran raised all her kids (and us GC's) on wild rabbit, she reckoned it was idea for toddlers as very soft!! Now where did I put that air rifle.

thanks so much je did used to absolutely love mince and east a huge bowl...no only half an orange for lunch
