Hmm. Need inspiration.

Something maybe with fish? Not a gamey one. Definitely something wintery.

Will be followed by pasta with a very rich tomato meaty sauce.

Any favourites????

I think Jamie Oliver has a couple of good winter salads including a nice duck one, but don't have the recipe.

duck with orange segments? dont have recipe, sure ive seen it in a magazine or online somewhere.

My fave warm salad (definitely a main meal though rather than starter) is bacon lardons with croutons and a poached egg on top! (salivates)
