Edible presents

I want to make some edible presents for the dss to give their grandparents for xmas. I need to do it this week as we are seeing them at the weekend for the last time before xmas.

What things will keep ok for a couple of weeks? Am thinking biscuits etc might not be a good plan. Ideally it would be something the dss can decorate.

And where can I get nice pakaging to store/wrap them in?

Lakeland direct do cellophane bags - complete with a nice ribbon should do the trick.

Do biscuits - they'll keep a week or so; give them to the grandparents as a xmas present early.

Thanks for this.
I really need something that will keep a few weeks - it's a long story involving complicated travel plans.

any more suggestions? I was thinking fudge but that's not very child friendly to make.

Turkish delight or marshmallows? Not sure they are 'child friendly' to make though.

Truffles?
