The one bloody time I buy (a) a ready meal, and (b) something that contains meat, there's a national pork scare .

It's a children's range sausage and mash meal. All I can discover is that it is from British raised pork.

It was for dd. In the bin?

Gnargh. Am emigrating in 3 days. I do not have time to be googling pork provenance. (And I thought I'd save on time and faff by buying a ready meal ).

we're in the same position, have sausages from tesco sat in the fridge for tea tonight, bought them just before the pork scare was on the news. it says british pork so am not sure whether to eat them or bin them.

pork from Northern Ireland fine

British means England Wales and Scotland.

It's only Irish pork, ie from Eire, which is the problem.
