Extra thick double cream in mashed potatoes??

Is it ok to put extra thick double cream in mash potato.Im making it now and then re-heating it tonight.Shall I pop it in after I have re-heated it later or can i do it now when they are mashed?
Could it curdle or seperate?

I love mashed potatoes with cream and butter.

It shouldn't separate or curdle, whenever you do it.
