No I wasn't elliott - was inspired by the spinach thread to try and find something to flummox folk; but it hasn't beaten gingerbear I see...

Well I am no cook book auther, but here goes

200 g Mung beans, chopped Red onion, 3 or 4 Tomatoes (finely chopped or blanched), beaf cubes, corriander, curry powder and/or any other prefered spices.

  1. Boil the beans till they are soft. Add salt if desired.

  2. Put 1 or 2 table spoonfulls of oil in sauce pan and put in the

onions till they start browning.

  1. Add tomatoes and reduce heat. When the tomatoes start

cooking, add the spices. Add salt if desired.

  1. Now add the beans and stir till it simmers. Add the corriander

and keep stiring for 2-3 minutes.
