14-month-old dd seems to have gone off her food, and i'm worried that she's losing weight. is there anything i can do to persuade her to eat more?

Has she been unwell? Could she be teething or have a sore throat? Or oral thrush? Or perhaps it is just a phase. I have a very tall but lean 19 month old who is only 6.5 pounds more than she was a year ago. The slightest thing puts her off food, the slightest sniffle and she would much rather be playing anyhow. As long as your dd is well I am sure she will pick up soon. The more you stress and cajole the less she will eat and that's a fact!

Dd has had 3 lots of anti biotics in 6 weeks for recurrent toncilits as she us allergic to penacilin the meds they give her don't seem to work. She has eaten well foe about 5 days but woke this morning sneezing .... Cue zero food intake!!

I hope your dd picks up soon, it is true that no baby ever willingly starved themselves so try not to worry to much.
