Food hygiene question - can we eat this soup??

Defrosted a minestrone soup on Thursday (at room temperature then into fridge) but for various reasons we didn't eat it Thurs or Fri night. Do you think it would be safe to eat it tonight? I'm feeling super paranoid at the moment as we all had a tummy lurgy recently...

TIA

if it's been in the fridge I'd think it's fine

thanks, i think the rule is 2 days for veg isn't it, but it was a day before it went in the freezer, ie i cooked it in the evening, left it out then in the freezer first thing in the morning.

Do you think that's still ok?

I wouldn't eat it, I use things within 24 hours of defrost. Have also just had the lurgy so extra cautious as well!

think i'll chuck it, though my heart bleeds to do it! but veg are worse than meet aren't they.
