HELP - my baby stopped eating...

Can anyone advise...

My 14th month old son has stopped eating. He used to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner including snacks. He wouldnt eat jar food, just my home cooked food but that was fine. Now he's stopped eating all together for nearly 2 weeks. Although he does eat a good breakfast of muesli, fruit, sometimes toast and some raisons, lunch and dinner are non events. He will however eat Ella's pouches, stage 1, sqeezed into his mouth and yogurts!!

Please can anyone advise how I can get him eating regular textured food again....

I should add, he has had lots of teeth pop through of late, infact he has all his bottom teeth and front top teeth and im guessing his top molar's are coming through...
Usually when he's teething he'll go off his food but only for a day or 2, never nearly 2 weeks!!

Thanks
x

It's not quite the same thing, but my 14 mo ds did the same when he was ill recently. It was almost two weeks before he had a full meal. He lost quite a bit of weight poor thing, but I didn't push it with him, just let him start eating again when he was ready, which he was once he got better. He's already put on all the weight back after about 10 days, so I wouldn't worry. He'll start eating properly soon enough, it's good he's getting a decent breakfast. My ds didn't even want breakfast for about a week.

He's eating a good breakfast and one that consists of different textured food. SO he isn't going to starve.

Molars hurt more than the other teeth - so prob why he isn't eating much for longer.

Check he isn't filling up on milk and then keep just presenting him with lunch and dinner and don't make a fuss if he doesn't eat it.

Thanks
I wasn't too worried untill tonight! He cried throughout bathtime (he loves bathtime!!) he didn't take his bedtime bottle (he always wants his milk) and he went straight to sleep without a sound!!

He doesn't have a temperature (Ive checked 4 times since 7pm!) but he did have his MMR on Monday....!?!?!?!?

I am saying this only for your own good to stop worrying and don't take it badly but...

STEP AWAY FROM THE THERMOMETER!

He's probably a bit under hte weather what with the teething and MMR.
