Would anyone know where I can get my hands on some Gelbwurst? The German Deli in London doesnt have any and the kids are annoying me with their requests for some.

Slarty - Been to Aldi and Lidl.
They have a lot of Polish items but not German (even though there is a HUGE German community nearby).

May have to resort to smuggling......

It's Bavarian, isn't it? My Bavarian neighbour was telling me about it. We're in Rheinland-Pfalz otherwise I'd send you some in exchange for mince pies

There are no mince pies? You poor thing. I am sure that there is some kind of rescue package we can put toghether for you . I know I have a secret stash that is slowly dwindling.......
