Freezing cold meat???

I have a pile of roast beef slices, can i freeze them??? Don't want waste it.

If you cooked it from raw, yes.

You can freeze them, however, they do sometimes go a bit dry when you defrost them. Don't refreeze after defrosting though.

That should be OK. Be careful if they were in a pack, they may have previously been frozen. It's OK if you cooked it yourself though.

It is a big catering pack, don't think it will have been frozen.

I wouldn't do it if it were a catering pack. It may have been cooked whole, then frozen, then defrosted for slicing and putting in the gravy. It should say on the pack if you can defrost it. If it doesn't, I wouldn't.

I will check pack but don't thinkit has been frozen. Might try try small amounts in gravy then freezing. Or I could say bugger it and heat the whole lot in gravy and eat it now .
