frozen fish..........

Hi can someone advise?
I froze some fresh haddock last wk, can I just steam it from frozen or do I have to defrost it first?

If I freeze it from frozen, I generally defrost first. If I buy frozen fish, it often says on the packet cook from frozen, so I do.

No logic to that whatsoever I realise!

no, I know what you mean - bought frozen it says cook from frozen, but does that rule follow if you freeze it!

If you are steaming it i would defrost it first, just to make sure that it cooks through properly. imo
