Can anyone recommend a good thermos pot for sending the children off with a hot lunch? We had one which DH put in the dishwasher and now it doesn't work well - can't get the water out of the vacuum bit. Ideally not too hard to unscrew and with big opening.

I have got a Thremos funtainer. like this but it wasn't £20. I haven't had it long either so I don't know why this one is that much. Mine was £9. Anyway, it's graet. It has a wide neck so my dd can eat directly out of it and she can open it herself too.

And you can put it in the dishwasher or I wouldn't give it houseroom

Do you know if they better than the Thermos funtainer ones MrsB? My nan always said 'Buy cheap buy twice' and I know what she means so will spend more if they will do the trick.

Just read your one savoycabbage. Found them for £11 and good to open it themselves of course. And dishwasher good although don't mind the odd bit of elbow grease at the sink. It's my version of going to the gym.

True. Maybe I could handcuff them to the children.
