Which is better Tescos or Asda birthday cake?

Am devestated really

First birthday cake in 11 years that is not homemade

DD insisted she didn't want one

now with only hours to go she does

I have a chest infection/ear infection & urine infection - so I don't think I could cook even if it wasn't a good idea wrt infection control

So all I can get to is Asda or Tesco - but I can only manage one......which one

I dislike artificial stuff - so the one with ingredients rather than a chemical morass

Thanks - I'm too knackered to do anything really

OK, we were on holiday with DD this year on her birthday, so we bought her a Tesco chocolate one. It DID have hte artificial taste, I can't deny it, but it was ok.

ASDA aren't as nice IME (mate always buys asda)

Go to Tesco

Tesco definitely

Personally don?t think there is much difference between asda and tesco cakes. I do think that the ones decorated for children (in either shop) taste disgusting ?you know the character cakes with the thick, coloured icing. But the choc ones are nice.

Are the adult cake or the fruit cakes better?

I could quite go for chocolate

I bought a chocolate roulade

DD was happy

Thanks
