fishcakes - quick and easy recipes please..

I usually follow a Nick Nairn recipe for fishcakes but it takes ages and I want a really quick and easy one please - any suggestions?

mash some spuds (not with milk), open large tin of salmon - take out bones, flake into mash, shape into burger shapes and put on baking tray avoiding all urges to breadcrumb them... stick in over for 20 mins at 200'C.. heat up tin of beans.. serve

is there another way of making them!!!

Thanks thats great - the recipe that I use has loads of ingredients, wants them left overnight in fridge etc They taste lovely but I just wanted a quick method.

half hr in fridge is fine to make them easier to handle, imo. also try putting bits of eg boiled egg, leftover veggies into your mash mix. yum. dd's like theirs with tartare sauce

Boil some potatoes up while a bit of cod is cooking in foil in the oven, fry a bit of chopped onion. When they're ready mash them up with some tomato sauce and milk and butter - not too much. Using some flour, shape them into little cakes. Fry in a little oil.
Nice with peas...yum.
