That's it really.
What is it and do you think it would be in our supermarkets? Ta

You can't get it here only in the US.

As an alternative I have used golden syrup mixed with a little bit of boiling water so as to make it slightly less gooey-or sugar and water boiled up until it goes quite thick

would something like agave syrup work?

Thanks.
Will use golden syrup and water and will have a look at agave syrup next time I'm in a health food shop.
Googled it and sounds interesting.

Hopefully not another biscuit/cake disaster today. Put Ume - sour plum - stuff in a recipe last week but it was a type of vinegar and not the sweet stuff that you can also buy abroad. 12 entirely disgusting, gross biscuits!
