Help required...I've cremated my Christmas cake!

The cake is rather burnt on all sides, I've sliced at it with an electric knife to see how bad it is inside so now it is quite mis-shapen!
It also looks very dry.
Does any one have any suggestions as to what I can do with it, is there anything else I can turn it into? (if you know what I mean)It's just that the ingredients have cost so much I can't bring myself just to feed it to the birds.

door stop?

you can re wet your cake by spiking it every week or so with a skwer and add either brandy or orange juice, this really does help to moisturise the cake!!

how mishapen is it though??

mis-shapen doesn' tmatter. although you can try neatening it up again if you want.

poke holes in it and feed it once a week until christmas with brandy. it'll be nice and moist
