Any ideas how to make those pretty bottles with the flavoured oils in?

Hi,

Do you know the ones I mean?

You see them in Waitrose, John Lewis etc with chillis or herbs in.

I wondered how easy this would be to make for Christmas presents as they look so attractive but are so expensive to buy.

Any help?

Hi

I think you just add your preferred flavour to good olive oil and leave it to brew!

I'm doing orange liqueur for Christmas pressies, Lakeland have these bottles

haven't done it yet - it's a recipe from the BBC Good Food Magazine. Vodka, spices and orange peel as far as I can tell!

Here's the link

Yes, just chuck the stuff in the bottom and leave it!

In the past I've done:

Garlic and black pepper
Red pepper and Juniper
Black pepper and rosemary

It looks gorgeous in the bottles.
