I don't drink at all but would love to be able to have a wine glass and at least pretend to be a grown up sometimes

Sick of only drinking coke etc

Does anybody drink anything like this, or can recommend any good non alcoholic drink

Aqua Libra used to be nice but they seem to have stopped making it.

It's not really worth thinking in terms of a glass of something to replace wine - it's a bit like trying to find a chocolate substitute if all you really want is chocolate!

I'll second Schloer.

NorbertDentressangle · 06/11/2008 21:20

Red grape juice (with sparkling water if you want to dilute it a bit)

NorbertDentressangle · 06/11/2008 21:21

Oh I remember AquaLibra -didn't it taste quite melon-like?

LittleWhizzingBella · 06/11/2008 21:22

Ame

Rochester Ginger (Holland and Barrett)

They also do a couple of mulled berry juices etc. great for this time of year

beansprout · 06/11/2008 21:22

One of them did but the green, dry one was yum. As was the green Ame but that's not around any more either.

Schoer is too sweet.

www.lono.co.uk/

the carl jung brut is very good

harpomarx · 06/11/2008 21:24

not to everyone's taste, and it doesn't come in a wine glass - but I'm quite fond of a Virgin Mary if I'm in a pub and not drinking (aka a tomato juice with all the spices and what not you'd normally get in a Bloody Mary, just no vodka)

LittleWhizzingBella · 06/11/2008 21:33

ooh yes I never drink them but when I do (once every 5 years) I remember how great they are and wonder why I don't drink them more often (virgin marys that is)

Bottlegreen Elderflower presse - or any fizzy elderflower / spring water type drink. Light dry sparkly refreshing - perfect for Christmas.

Bainmarie · 06/11/2008 21:51

Shloer is nice and they also do a good alcohol free bucks fizz too.
