Latte or cappucino?

I'm 39 and never drunk coffee (long story)

GP has said I need to increase my calcium intake, and as it's so freezingly cold here I thought a nice, warm, milky coffee might be just the thing

Pathetically, I'm quite excited about the idea, although a bit wary that I might become an addict.

So I'm wondering which would you recommend, latte or cappucino?

Thanks everyone for all these great ideas, hot milk and syrup sounds good - what flavours can you get? Must investigate some websites.

This morning I warmed milk with a few squares of Green & Blacks milk chocolate and gave it a good whisk up, it was delicious. Of course I do that kind ofthing for the dc all the time, just not for myself, I've a lot of catching up to do!

Off trick or treating in a couple of hours, that usually yields enough chocolate to last until christmas

Must hunt out that witches hat....

If the idea is to up your intake of calcium, then a Latte has more milk.

It's also milder (for coffee apologists imho )

starbucks and costa have a great range of syrups they will even let you test if you ask very nicely. (really depends on the staff)

and you can even buy a bottle to take home.

personally if you have never drunk coffee I would say that you should go with Hot chocolate or Horlicks to get the milky drink.

I am in a Mocca stage myself at the moment but usually order cappuchino though it happesn I ask for Latte (but I do like the foam on a cappuchino - also I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE coffee fan lol
