I have to confess that I am not the world's best cook, but I am really trying to cut down on the ready meals we buy. I need some advice on recipe books that tell me how to cook standard stuff, nothing fancy, that won't take me all night, and that I can use the following day for my toddler, or freeze and serve later in the week.
DH doesn't like lots of odd stuff, and "sloppy" things like lasagnas, cottage pies etc. He gets in at 7 and we like to be eating by 8, so nothing required that takes 3 hrs to prepare as I don't have time in the day.
Can anyone help???
