Free and Subsidised Milk in Schools

As it says, the Farmers Weekly and Dairy Crest have been campaigning since last Decmber to get Free or Sub milk into all schools. Does your school have milk in all classes?, ask the school. You can also contact the Dairy Council on 020 7499 7822 or www.milk.co.uk and School Milk on 01252 875 474 or www.schoolmilk.co.uk

If your school is not given free or subsidised milk ask why not, contact your MP regarding this as well. You can get leaflets from the Dairy Council for parents and teachers, which gives an explanation of why milk is good for you, as a lot of children will never get milk.

So go on ask your school and get some info sent to yourself or the school, you get leaflets and a video from the Dairy Council.

Milk is good for you, and so is supporting Britains farmers. I'd rather my money went to giving children free milk than bombing innocent women and children in Iraq.
