What to give 6 month old for lunch

I'm looking for ideas for my 6 month old for a lightish lunch....he has puree apple & baby rice. Turned his nose up at banana, and hated pasta with tom & cheese sauce (tastes too strong at the moment I suspect). He has his main meal of meat & veg in the evening with us. Any ideas will be very welcome!

I make fish, mashed potato, broccoli and cheese sauce which makes a sort of mashed up fish pie! It actually tastes quite nicccccce. Have you tried fruit custard?
