thanks SquiffyHock. Forgot to mention, won't be cooking this in my own home so need to transport ingredients. Have 30 mins to prepare on site and 30 mins for guests to eat. I love the fruit skewer idea, and mini muffins (and also donuts thinkign about it). The rest sound great too so will decide which of mine to knock out and which of yours to put in!

Pre-make some mini choux buns, and fill with light cheese sauce with bacon and mushroom?

Hardboiled halved quails eggs?
