Basically that really, I cooked a gammon joint and have carved it to make ham slices but there's loads of it so is it ok to freeze it and then just defrost it to make sandwiches ect?

I've never cooked a gammon joint before so am not too sure, but I'd do it with chicken or beef ect. The gammon wasn't frozen beforehand either!
Thanks!
