Lazy version - half minced beef and half pork sausage meat, and some crushed garlic. If I have some stuffing mix I put a bit of that in too (easier than making breadcrumbs and has more flavour). Lots of black pepper, then into a hot oven for about 15-20 mins or so, depending on how big you made them. Pour tomato sauce over, back in oven for another 10 mins and then onto spaghetti.

Minced beef, an egg, breadcrumbs, bit of grated cheese, salt, pepper etc.
Sqwodge into walnut sized balls. Tin of toms.

really easy:

just squish all the mince meat up in your hands with some finely chopped and already sauteed onion and garlic. Grate a garrot into it too if you like. Roll into little balls, then fry off, add to tomato sauce, cook gently for half an hour, and serve with pasta.

No need for egg or breadcrumbs either.

you can jazz it up with added herbs, a blob of pesto, chillie flakes, chopped up olives and sun dreid tomatoes etc etc

I add finely chopped and cooked carrot, onion, garlic and millet to the children's ones I make (or made I guess)

Run the following through the blender together:

  • 1 slice of bread, well toasted
  • Parsley
  • 1/2 onion

Add this mix to the ground meat

Add 1 egg

Mix well with hands.
