I am rubbish at curries normally. They always taste bland or watery, usually at home we call the experts (local restaurant) or use a posh jar sauce .
But tomorrow I am going to a halloween party and I offered to bring a hot dish - the host requested a curry... if I use a jar everyone will comment on how nice it is and ask if I made it myself and I would hate to say 'no I bought it' - I want to say 'it was nothing' in a effortless culinery goddess stylie .
Of course, the most likely scenario is that they will gag and move swiftly onto the chilli .
