Beef Stroganoff - anyone got a good recipe?

Title says it all really. Got some lovely mushrooms and fancy something hale and hearty

There is a good recipe for veal strogonoff in the anabel carmel meal planner thing (am at work, so can't quote it I'm afraid)...

Really need a more 'stewy' one as sadly only have stewing steak! Will adapt and stick in slow cooker I think.

Do a Jamie Oliver stew with it - has some great ones on his Ministry if Food site.

Really need rump steak for a stroganoff as its cooked quite quickly.

I make mine very simply - onions, strips of steak, sliced mushrooms, sour cream.
