Apple crumble help

I've got to take an apple crumble to friends house for dinner on Saturday. I don't know whether to cook it up completely on Friday night and then re-heat it next day. Or prepare it (cook apples down etc) and then take it uncooked to friends house and cook it there. I just don't know how well the crumble part will travel without being cooked. I'd say 2.5 hours in car, unrefrigerated etc.

Arrgh I'm so hopeless at making decisions...

Thanks

You could make it now and then freeze it.

You can freeze it uncooked I think, so you could make it on Friday, freeze it and then take it like that to cook? So it would be about defrosted by the time you get there.

Ye, I'd freeze it uncooked too.

But crumble mixture should be ok unrefrigerated for a couple of hours, especially if you put it in the boot of the car!

Oh that's great. Thanks for that. I just wasn't sure if it would dry out after being cooked once.
