Costco -= I had to find one as my two have it on porridge every moring

i have often thought that, we used to buy it from costco and also ask anyone going to the US or Cananda to bring some back for us, if anyone goes ask them to bring you some 'maple cream' if you iumagine maple syrup to be clear honey, maple cream is cloudy honey but impossible to get here. Oh and maple sugar is great on porridge.

I've got a decent size bottle from M&S (about the size of a bottle of tomato ketchup)

SqueakyPop · 19/10/2008 09:25

We buy it in Costco in big jugs.

There's a 16oz maple syrup on Ebay atm for £8.99 + £1 p&p.

It sounds expensive but tbh, it it pretty expensive in the US too. When we were in Vermont last summer, we were going to pick up some local stuff and it was easily $40 for a large jug.

I personally don't like it, but the rest of the family do. The key thing is to ration it, I think. It's not as if we feel entitled to drink Champagne instead of plonk, so only have it for Sunday brunch.

It's still a sugar, they shouldnt have tonnes of it.
