Very easy cake recipe please!

Am a bit of a novice in the kitchen but would like to do baking with ds any easy cake recipes?

(Nutritious) Chocolate Cake

Add to saucepan and boil?

1 cup water

1.5 cups sugar

4oz butter

4 tablespoons cocoa

Half teaspoon bicarbonate soda

When slightly cool pour into mixing bowl then add?

2 beaten eggs

1.5 cups self raising flour

Cook in a 20cm round tin for approx 45 minutes at 160C.

This is the easiest yummiest chocolate cake recipe I have ever used.

Last week, I made the Best Chocolate Cake recipe from the MN recipes section - it is very easy to make and turned out very well. I am definitely a baking novice - but having a baking phase which I assume is triggered by pg hormones!
