freezing a cake with icing on?

want to ice a whole traybake and freeze half for next week. Most recipe books say not to freeze with icing but I know I will never be arsed to ice 2nd half alone and have already made whole batch of icing. Has anyone frozen fudge icing made with butter, milk, cocoa and icing sugar? What would happen to it if I did?

May have to eat it all before it goes mouldy

Yes you can freeze it for up to a month, I made and rough iced my wedding cakes with a similar icing and defrosted them the week before they were fine.

Thank you. Now have to put it in freezer quick before it gets eaten.
