Has someone got a recipe for a chilli they make their slow cooker?

Would really like one that uses dark chocolate.

Yes, I have - it came in the recipe book that came with the slow cooker. I've made it once (haven't owned it that long) and it was great.

Here goes (with slight modifications made my me:

In frying pan heat 1tbsp oil and brown 2 chopped onions . Add to slow cooker pot. Brown 1kg mince in same pan, add to pot. Add tin of tomatoes, tin kidney beans (I used pinto as prefer), 2 cloves garlic, crushed, 2 tbsp tomato puree, 2 tsp chilli powder (less if you prefer), 1 tsp mixed herbs. Stir well, cook on low 6-7 hours or high 3-4 or auto for 8 hours.

They also said in the recipe to add 2 beef stock cubes dissolved in a little water - I don't use so omitted. I sprinkle in a little Swiss Marigold Powder. I also cook some frozen sweetcorn and add fairly late in cooking process.

Did you any dark chocolate to your recipe?

No, I didn't, but sounds a good idea - like a bit of extra dark green and blacks. mmm.
